Luke Kilpatrick of Parkway Drive and Me in Jakarta.

After an outdoor raining gig with brutal moshpit & awesome crowd, me and my friends were trying to at least have a single picture with Parkway Drive. The good news is : Their hotel is so close the venue! So we went to fX Centre and BOOYA! I saw Luke Kilpatrick and James Hartley (Hartley is a pro photgrapher and PWD’s friend, i post my pic with him month ago) so pleaseee… mind my messy face? It was one of the greatest day of my life!

(and one of the most exhausting too… :p)

Took this photo while ago, Parkway Drive concert in Jakarta tob exact. I chased them to their hotel and found James Hartley and Luke Kilpatrick!! But fukk it, Derizky don’t send the Luke pics yet hahaha. So here is the picture of James Hartley and me :)

So many people said that Parkway Drive need to back with Adam D for their next album. I assume those people NEVER been in Parkway Drive gig. Deep Blue is the most natural album by them and has the most powerful songs of Parkway Drive setlist. Unrest, Sleepwalker, Deliver Me, Karma is those songs that will make you mosh til you can’t feel your body.

Kemarin, saya bareng teman2 dari Bandung akhirnya sukses nonton Parkway Drive. I still can’t believe it. They are beyond awesome. This may makes me sound so ‘fanboy’ but you are invited to call me so. Saya bakal posting ttg 10 Desember 2011 nanti, setelah teman2 yang lain selesai ngirim file-file fotonya ke saya, hahaha.

PS : You know what? I did even take 2 pictures with James Hartley. Envy me.

I feel pretty bad recently. Banyak hal yang -walau sederhana- tapi menyebalkan. Dan mulai kepikiran juga sih, kok belakangan ini sial terus ya. Beberapa hal diantaranya adalah Manchester United yang sedang tidak dalam top form, STAN bakal ngadain Psikotest tanggal 10 Desember (sial, tanggal yang sama dengan konser Parkway Drive!), dan fakta bahwa band saya sedang males - malesan.

Tapi saya percaya, pemikiran saya yang saya output ke luar sanalah yang membuat saya merasa down dan menggangu. Bukan fakta lainnya. Dan, hei, this is a life, and it’s good. Manchester United seringkali  tidak dalam performa terbaiknya, tapi bukannya saat menjuarai Liga 2010/2011 pun, banyak yang mengkritik performa buruk United di tengah musim? Mungkin suatu saat nanti, saya bisa pergi ke gig Parkway Drive di Australia, atau mungkin juga ada kesempatan ke 3 kali untuk Indonesia! Who knows? Dan mungkin saja, band saya sedang males karena mereka tidak terbiasa dengan pressure tinggi?

Bukannya sok PMA, tapi karena saya percaya dengan Teori Ilmu Noetic yang mempelajari tentang pikiran manusia, maka saya mencoba menerapkan Teori itu di kehidupan nyata. Saya mencoba untuk membuang jauh pikiran negatif, dan menggantinya dengan sinyal sinyal positif. Siapa tau, karmanya nanti baik? Haha. Semoga ya.
